About the Role
Prepare and verify periodic financial reports.
Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules.
Post all stock movement and other transactions in the tally system.
To ensure that all issues are made against requisitions and that no items leave the store without appropriate documentation or signature.
Ensure that all items are stored correctly in terms of temperature and humidity and that no drugs are stored on the floor.
Update the stock issue book in departmental basis.
Drop and collection from local suppliers.
Compile monthly reports and stock takes.
Maintain returned check account and update stores bin cards.
Receive and account for all cash received and receipts.
To receive deliveries from suppliers, to record their arrival and sign out on distribution.
Confirm physical presence of all stocks incoming and outgoing.
To ensure correct stock rotation and that issues are effected on first in first out basis-FIFO Report to accounts assistants any form of damage or expiry on time.
Ensure that the store is clean all the time.
Ensure maximum security of all storeroom areas, that no un-authorized person enters the stores.
Ensure that goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered and in accordance.
Familiar with Tally.
Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Audit.
Experience of 3-5 years.
